Kinematic Equations

The Kinematic Equations is a branch of mechanics in physics. In mechanics, we study about the object in motion or in rest. Kinematics is derived from the Greek word Kinema or kinien which means motion and movement of the body or the object. if the body is in motion without considering the cause of it, then this study is called Kinematic Equations as a universal law. In this method, we study the physical quantities related to motion. Few variables are taken into consideration like the initial velocity, final velocity, acceleration, displacement, and time.  all these variables are denoted by initial velocity is denoted by v0, final velocity v, acceleration a, displacement x, time t. Its motion is studied in one dimension which means straight-line motion, two-dimension motion means circular motion and projectile motion, three-dimension motion the molecule of gases moves into x axis and y axis directions. There are four kinematic Euqation formula these are as follow given below.

How to use Kinematic Equations?

We have provided some different or we can say four actual and most used formula to solve kinematic equations on this website, Which will we very easy for you once you will remember it in your mind while performing tests or exams.

  1. v = v0 + at – Final velocity is eqaul to initial velocity plus acceleration multiplied by the time.
  2. Δx = v + v0/2 x t – displacement is equal to final velocity plus initial velocity divided by 2 and multiplied by time.
  3. Δx = v0t + 1/2 at2 – displacement is equal to initial velocity multiplied by time added half of acceleration multiplied by time square.
  4. v2 = v02 + 2aΔx – final velocity square is equal to initial velocity square added to two times of acceleration into displacement.
Kinematic Equations Solution

in all of the above given formulas one thing in each differently is missing in some displacement, sometimes acceleration or sometimes it may be final velocity, sometimes time will be missing. In such cases, you need to find out which variable is missing. all the variables like velocities, acceleration, displacement except time, time cannot be negative. All the objects which are falling towards the ground or thrown towards the ground and coming down due to the gravitational force of our Earth the acceleration which is influenced by the gravity is denoted as g, g = 9.81 m/s2 if it is going upward like we basket a ball in upward direction it will be positive and if the same ball coming down it will be negative. To find final velocity when initial velocity, acceleration and time is known we will find it easily use the first formula v = v0 + at . To find displacement when final velocity, initial velocity and time is known to us we will find it easily what we will do, we will add the final velocity with the initial velocity and divide the addition of both and multiplied it with time, we will use the second formula of displacement x = v + v0/2 x t. As same for other formulas, we may know some variables and some variables are unknown to us. Here we learn about the motion of an object and knowing the motion is most important, knowing its cause os motion is not important in kinematics. Significance of describing motion is the most important factor, select a suitable problem of the problem of kinematic equations will give you the correct and exact answers.
